Globos de Oro 2019

¡Hola chicos!, ¡feliz año!

No se me ocurre mejor manera de empezar 2019 que comentando la gala de los Globos de Oro.

Como siempre, en esta primera alfombra roja del año hay aciertos, y no tan aciertos, entre tanto lujo y famoso.

Voy a empezar por Lady Gaga, actriz y cantante que nunca pasa desapercibida, y en esta ocasión, no iba a ser menos.

Lució un modelo de Valentino celeste espectacular a juego con su pelo.

Para mi, lo que le sobró es el collar. Creo que el vestido llamaba suficientemente la atención como para añadir complementos tan grandes, ¿no creéis?

I'll start with Lady Gaga, actress and singer who never goes unnoticed, and this time, it was not going to be less.

She wore a spectacular light blue Valentino model matching her hair.

For me, the necklace could have been left over. I think the dress draws enough attention to add such huge accessories, don´t you think?

Siguiendo con Valentino, Laura Derm optó por el rojo, y aunque es un color que casi siempre me parece un acierto en este tipo de galas, he de decir que no fue de mis favoritos.

Me parece que el corte tan recto, no le estilizaba demasiado, y la sutil transparencia de la tela tampoco me acabó de convencer.

¿Qué opináis?

Again with Valentino, Laura Derm opted for the red, and although it is a color that from my point of view it almost always seems a success in this type of galas, I must say that this was not one of my favourites.

I think that the straight cut, does not stylize too much, and the subtle transparency of the fabric does not just convince me either.

Como no, no podía faltar Penélope Cruz, para la que, a mi gusto, este no ha sido su mejor año.

Llevó un vestido con escote corazón decorado con cristales de Ralph&Russo, el cual, me pareció muy elegante, aunque no le favoreciera del todo.

No sé si me sobraba el lazo de terciopelo que utilizó como tirantes, o me faltaba darle otra vuelta para que el escote quedara más arriba.

As it couldn't be other way, I could not miss Penélope Cruz, for whom, in my opinion, this has not been her best year.

She wore a dress with a sweetheart neckline decorated with Ralph & Russo crystals, which I think is very elegant, but it does not seem to favour her at all.

I do not know if I would have removed the velvet bow that she used as suspenders or, maybe, give it another turn so that the neckline is higher.

Para terminar, mi favorito, que sin lugar a dudas fue el de Nicole Kidman.

Fue nominada a mejor actriz de película dramática, y que mejor manera de acudir a la gala que con este modelo de Michael Kors.

Aunque fue arriesgado optar por un vestido ceñido de lentejuelas de cuello perkins, y muchos dicen que parecía una bola de discoteca, a mí me encantó.

At last, my favourite, which without a doubt was Nicole Kidman´s.

She was nominated for best dramatic film actress, and what better way to go to the gala than with this model designed by Michael Kors.

Although it was risky to opt for a tight dress with perkins neck sequins, and many say it looked like a disco ball, I loved it.
